I found this YouTube channel over a year ago while looking for animations of planetary gear drives. I wasn't ready for the 10+ different gear shifting mechanisms, 40+ different ratchets, maybe 20+ different one way clutches?

If you want examples of 5 different mixing machines or your inner Ether is calling and you just need to spend an hour looking at untold numbers of kinematic chains with several different versions of each than this is the place.

It is basically a channel consisting of well over 1,700 10-30 sec long Autodesk Inventor animations of various mechanical devises, and nothing else.

I picked out 4 that may be applicable to FRC provided you were actually able to fabricate them.

#1 Two-way anti-reverse transmission 1b: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DBfEdX5Ow8

#2 Snap motion 16: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwABcO1k2l0

#3 Ratchet mechanism 28 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drAELRHyHgI

#4 Spring toggle mechanism 5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYSJn0U0kXI

And three more I just can't pass up

#1 Speed control of spring motor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehjgr3AYKvM

#2 Synchronic toothed clutch 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On1vXQ_ATu4

#3 Slider-crank mechanism having a pause at both ends of stroke 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0Lx-6c9JYk

No, not just one "Slider-crank mechanism having a pause at both ends of stroke" but the third... of how many?

PS: I DID NOT make any of these but I thought CD might like to see it.

or your inner Ether is calling

I find that happening more often as I get older...

My new favorite expression!!

I find that happening more often as I get older...

Ah, so that explains what's been happening to me!!

I know that channel. I liked this one in particular, along with his gearshift mechanisms:
