if anyone knows the people (person?) in charge of the feeds, can we PLEASE stop switching the feed between 1 cam to 3 cam in sync with the start of the match?? It is consistently missing the fast canburglers in action.

Seriously, this is crazy. Clearly whomever is in charge of this is watching live and not watching the feed they are in charge of, because they would realize YOU CANT SEE THE CAN RACE IF YOU ARE SWITCHING VIEWS DURING THE FIRST .5 SEC OF THE MATCH!

Maybe they are trying to prevent spoilers by keeping the can race hidden.

They're just protecting all the teams' trade secret autos.

I assume that this is automatic, and the switch happens when the FMS starts the match.

If the switch is automatic, then it is not very consistent. Some matches have stayed with the overhead for 1-2 sec. Other matches have switched to 3 cam view before the match begins. Also, sometimes during the match it is only the 3 cam screen. Other times it is switching between the different cameras, and that I would have a harder time believing it is just a timer that cycles the views.

Either way--there is someone, somewhere, that has the power to change this. I hope they do before Einstein gets going...

Ah, ok. I've been only watching Newton, and it seemed to consistently start at the very beginning of the match.

Anyways, I really hope that this will be fixed before Einstein starts as well.

All of the video feeds for the entire event are being run from a central location behind the fields. The video producers are not watching the fields live, only the audio guys / camera men are out, field side.
