1511 has worked hard to revamp our scouting this year and a part of that process was getting video scouting up and running. The video scouting at Championship was quite successful; we only missed 1.5 matches on Carson and 0 matches on Einstein. (The one match we missed on Carson was recorded by 1730 so you need not worry :) )
We recorded 1/2 of the matches on Einstein in 4K. We only recorded the matches on the right field in 4K because we felt our other camera would have better zoom for the left field.

It seems like the playlist got changed to "Private" in just the last few minutes? Can you please make it public again? It's the best angle I've seen and I love that you can see the drive teams and coaches as well. During the match you're so focused on the robots that you don't notice the carefully choreographed action behind the glass. (and personally, I enjoy the running commentary with heavy NY accents).

We're having issues with the videos right now. I'll try to get them back up as soon as possible.
Thanks for this! I haven't been able to find any Einstein videos until now.

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but yesterday I was able to watch your footage. They're great by the way. However, today the videos and playlists are all marked as private. :]

Please do bring back the Carson videos. I really want to share the videos with friends/family and it doesn't look like FIRST will be releasing any official ones, so these are all I've seen. I do appreciate you sharing your scouting videos with the world. Thanks!

Bring back the videos! bring back the videos!!!
Is there any chance we can get access to 1511's Carson videos? Is there a reason the videos are private?
Thanks
Still private for me, yeah. I would love to see them again.

just to let you know if you don't already, Finger Lakes videos have been private, and for quite a little bit.

From what I understand, there was an issue with the how some of the videos turned out and will be put back up in a timely manner as soon as the problems are discovered and fixed. The kids are usually quite diligent about putting the best quality videos they have up for TBA.
Please be patient a little longer, they'll be back! :)
Edit: This includes all FLR, Carson, and Einstein matches.
I know it's not 4K or Carson, but while you're waiting, 1676 recorded all of the Einstein matches in 1080p60, and from a similar angle IIRC: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPUJJPXRAlERsiEmZL_XT1FdD1DsUR-FH
We also have all of our Hopper footage up as well: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPUJJPXRAlERrq56whl38hz9Y6nolxGWX

Could you explain the problem you were having with the videos? I'm rather curious. Also, what camera did you use to film the videos?

Basically, A team member took all of the videos down and locked me out of the account for a while. It was an internal team issue so I wont go into the other details.
Canon Vixia HF R30
It has 51X Advance Zoom so it's quite nice for match filming.
Here's the video scouting gear minus the tripod and an HDMI cable. The 2nd and third SD cards are overkill; we only used the first 32 GB card. (The other ones are 32 and 16 GB cards.) The SD to USB converter is a must; it makes life much easier because a fair amount of computers dont have a SD card reader. I probably will write up a thread about the benefits of video scouting because its very useful both to your team and other and its quite easy to do with the right gear.

I'm a bit confused then that camera has a max resolution of 1080p, are you up scaling the video?
I totally understand the need for video scouting, it was one of the reasons we started uploading matches as soon as they finished here in the PNW. We definitely saw an increase in views because scouters could easily go back and watch the videos from anywhere.

Thanks much for your work getting these videos back up. We really do appreciate having access to them and being able to share them with the local fans who were not able to participate directly. Your work really helps the community.

Is there any estimate on how long until the Einstein videos will be made public again?
