Are you planning on coming to IRI?

If you are planning on coming then what are you changing to robot or adding to robot?

Will you have new drive team or same or some old, some new?

I guess technically we don't know yet, but...

135 is happy to apply for IRI and join our Indiana friends (and all of the great teams!) after quite a few years off!

If the weight limit is raised (hopefully) then we will try to add a canburglar. I'm not sure if our current drive team is going to drive or juniors (we are a junior-senior team). I can say as lead scout that we will not be hardcore scouting like the regular season (though I doubt we will be an alliance captain as it is, knowing all of the great teams there are).

Only six teams are pre qulaified to get in.
2056, 469, 1625 and 4039 as last year's winning allaince and 2867 and 5188 who purchased their entry via silent auction. It's a great unknown who else will get in.

The host teams of 45, 234, and 1024 I believe are also invited.

Team 45 is coming as one of the host teams, but not as a competitor.

Our robot performance this year was somewhere between lackluster and middle of the road (we seeded 38 out of 76 in Galileo). We won't be applying for an invitation. That means we can focus on helping make the event great for everyone else.

I'm going to IRI as a volunteer and bringing a few other volunteers with me.

Our team applied today.
To give ourselves a break during the summer, and already busy with VEX and other initiatives, adding canburglers is the only thing we plan to add. Lots of ideas and successful ones to find inspiration from.:)

I may find myself there as a spectator. We'll see.

I might come and volunteer or come as a spectator.

It is still up in the air.

I'll probably attend. Either with 20, or without. Maybe with 5254 even, we'll see.
IRI is the coolest event I've ever had the pleasure of attending, even better than the world championship, despite not getting picked either time. I look forward to attending the event and actually having time to check out every team's robot and watch some matches.

2338, very hopeful to make a return to IRI for the second time in team history! We have a few improvements in mind, including new can pullers and some minor tweaks.

Still fleshing out my plans on this one. Hopefully I can pull the trip off, and I'm hoping 4451 will apply and get in. (In the 15 years of IRI, only one South Carolina team has competed there: 343 in 2003 before applications and again in 2010.)

I'm hoping to make the trip as a spectator and maybe a volunteer. IRI gave me the re-inspiration I needed to get as involved as I am with my team. Hoping it does the same for me this year.

Sent in the application for 5012 a few days ago.

There's a chance I'll be there as spectator if 5012 doesn't get accepted.

Still in talks about robot improvements, but it should work even better than it did during the season. No need to add cheesecake!

If a world champion doesn't get accepted to IRI, then I'm not sure what this world is coming to.

Definitely making the trip with as many team members for as many days as we can. It's one of the big advantages of moving to Indiana :D Hopefully we'll see as many of the Einstein robots as possible.
Once we go to two world championships, hopefully we can settle it at IRI.

225 applied. I'll personally be coming whether we get in or not.

1923 has applied. I know a small group of us will come out regardless - IRI is basically summer vacation. :)

If DSK is playing, then I'll be there. I never miss those guys - I think I've been to every show. :)

If only I had the funds and the unlimited time off from work, I'd definitely make the trip out to watch/volunteer.

Never experience IRI but someday, I'll make the trip.

There's an 80% chance I'll volunteer as scorekeeper... depends where I get a job and if I can get the time off.

I'll be there to take some pictures and have some fun. if I can get out of the slump I'm in, maybe a highlight reel will appear.

I will certainly be there in way, shape, or form. Preferably in human form since I don't want to miss this!

1678 will be unlikely to attend sadly:(
I personally would love to have our team go, but the logistics for us to attend are not very favorable.

Fixed your post.

I wish I could come, but I just started a new job. I don't start accruing vacation until August.

No 987...our bot will be in a crate on a slow boat to China, seriously.

But, But, But, this means no hopper division reunion! :( I guess you guys will just have to come to Duluth for our week 1/2 regional for the 2016 season!
