FRC Mafia [Night 0]

Hello all! I hope you're ready for some epic mafia.
But first, pesky rules.


Please don't communicate with each other outside of the CURRENT game thread (that is, the most recent one) unless I said you could in your role PM. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!
Please don't spam, and don't post unless you are playing, and alive.
Please be nice.
And finally, have fun!


Violation of these rules may result in being modkilled or banned from future games.

And now, let the games BEGIN!
Everyone, please PM me your night actions if you have them.
And one more thing: Please refrain from talking at night. It ruins the game. I will post when the night is over, but until then, keep quiet, OK? thanks :)
Also, there is no night kill on n0.
For those of you who don't know how the game is played, it's organized into days and nights. Each night except the first, the mafia kill someone, and each day everyone votes on someone to lynch.
In addition, everyone can do the things I told them in their PMs.

Alright everyone. Day 1 will begin as soon as I get the remaining night actions.
To clarify about inactivity, anyone who is inactive for more than 2 days will be poked. You will then have 12 hours to respond, and if you don't you will be modkilled.
Other than that, have fun!
Also, the newspaper thing: I will announce deaths each morning. This includes who died and what their role was.

One more thing: I've noticed some confusion about the days and nights system. To clarify, they do NOT correspond with real-world days and nights.
A day starts when I say so, and ends when a lynch is made.

I propose we lynch IronicDeadBird for being the first to post after daybreak. That clearly means he was up very early. Who else is either up early (because of not going back to sleep) or up late (because of sleeping in)? The mafia! IronicDeadBird fits into one of these two categories, and should be lynched.

I believe that this is in my defense. If I hadn't said anything, then the game wouldn't have moved forward. Also, if you always lynch the first person to suggest anything, you're going to kill off all of the townspeople, or the game will go on forever. I was mostly joking about IronicDeadBird (and I will not vote for his execution), but I do think we should lynch someone. If we're don't have enough info to pinpoint the mafia yet, I suggest we just lynch one of the people who hasn't been active. That way, we're not kicking someone who cares too much about playing.

Look guys, I've been playing Mafia for years. I know that the easiest way to get targeted is to be the first to accuse someone (and, of course, I never intended to follow through on it). If I was really the mafia, I'd be careful not to draw too much attention to myself at the beginning, because that would be a sure way to get me lynched. But if I didn't suggest anything, my guess is that the game would be exactly where it was two or three days ago.

If the vote is for lynching me, then I vote against it. Otherwise, I vote to wait until tomorrow when we'll actually have information about the mafia. And if you guys are lucky, I'll be killed in the night.

Edit: Oh, by the way, you've probably noticed that I'm one of those people with long logical arguments about who is and isn't the mafia.

Mostly joking T_T shots fired dude. I changed my mind anyway.
My gut instinct is that we should lynch ThatProgrammer. If he is the mafia we can say it was a programming problem all along and it will be funny cause we will solve the mystery and make a stupid pun like at the end of a bad cartoon.
If he isn't in the mafia then I'll feel really bad I killed someone innocent to make a bad joke...

Just kidding I never feel bad about making bad jokes.

Now if I could mind control thatprogrammer (and all of you for that matter) and I forced everyone to lynch someone different wouldn't every vote result in a tie and we could have more lynch free days? It would provide a lot of nice information too. The sacrifice of course being that we give the Mafia more days of safety, you might have learned during some build season that a day idle feels more like 3 days of work lost.

Anyway I will leave my vote up to the RNG gods I have assigned each participant a number leaving me the numbers 1-15. I got a random number generator and it gave me the number 15. With that I am going with...

As for roles, there are 3 mafia, one of which is a role blocker, 3 masons, a town role blocker, a doctor, some cops, and some bulletproof townies.

In response to z_beeblbrox I can but I would need to remove some notes cause I'm using this spread sheet as an example of what you can utilize google sheets for in a google site.

Okay, if I am going to be officially lynched, then let's make it happen so that the game can move forward. Otherwise, if anyone wants to change their vote (so as to not lynch an innocent), then that should happen, and then we should move forward. At this point, the game is standing still.

Edit: Sorry for the negative reaction in the previous post... it just gets on my nerve when people decide to lynch the first person who tries to move the game forward without a second thought, whether the person is acting like the mafia or not.

I agree that it is taking too long to move forward.
What is each day was 3 IRL days long and the night was 3 IRL days long with Sunday used as a break. That would move the game forward.

Also, according to the rules only a few people would still be playing the game as we haven't heard from allot of people within the last 2 days.

I think of the nature of this forum and its users make it hard for a game like this to last long IMO.
