Dear CD,

The Royal Oak, MI RoboRavens, teams 1188 and 3548, have joined the growing list of FRC teams that are now eligible to receive varsity letters.

This years inaugural class will include 10 students: 4 seniors, 4 juniors and 2 sophomores.

Questions: 1) Do you have a source for embroidering the FRC logo onto the varsity letter? I searched but could not find any links.

2) Do you have a FRC Varsity Letter Certificate template that I can copy for our team? We may be having our lettering ceremony this year at an Open House this Thursday evening. Again, I searched but could not find any links.

Special shout out to all the FRC teams (too many to even begin to name) that started down this path that now allows our team the opportunity to letter for FRC Robotics!

The Chenille patches we get from AST Sports (http://www.astsportsinc.com/chenille-jacket-patches/sport-activity-patches?Page=8&Items=12). Their work and quality is unparalleled.

For our Varsity Letter Pins we use All Star Trophy (http://allstartrophymn.securesites.net/). It is easiest to just call them if you are interested in the Pins.

Also, if you want to PM me, I do have the template that our team uses in .doc and .pdf.

Hope that helps!

As a matter of fact, I have a firehose of information...

Before you go embroidering the logo on, though, you may find the first two links on that page to be rather enlightening. FIRST has specific ways they like their various logos displayed. If I were you, I'd do a quick check on how well your design meets their standards.

Our school uses Mecca sportswear. I had to call the rep to make sure they understood what we needed but they were able to make it work.
