Dozer's name is "Dozer." It always has been. It is not, and never has been "Plowie." Plowie is his younger second cousin, who just happens to be a Tonka road-grader. Dozer gets quite offended when he is confused with Plowie. He then goes off and sulks in the corner for the entire afternoon, and it takes an enormous amount of coaxing to get him to settle down and play nicely with the other construction equipment. So please, for the sake of small blue bulldozers everywhere, let's put an end to this Dozer/Plowie confusion, and just use his proper name.

FYI, The FIRST Logo wallpaper on the site is in violation of FIRST's Branding and Design Standards guide (http://www.usfirst.org/uploadedFiles/Robotics_Programs/FRC/FRC_Communications_Resource_Center/Branding_and_Logos/FIRST_BrandGuidelines_web.pdf), specifically page 11's rules about changing colors and putting atop distracting backgrounds.

When it was posted to the FRC subreddit, I discussed these violations with the original artist.

Also, it's Dozer, not Plowie :P

I did a quick Google search, and it looks like the name "Plowie" has only been around since 2012 (at least on this forum). "Dozer"'s first mention was in 2010, and is the official name apparently.

"Bots Before Thots" is now my wallpaper lol.

Anyone else secretly hope to see Dozer in that "other robot competition" (http://deadline.com/2015/02/battlebots-revival-reality-series-abc-summer-1201367663/#)that is scheduled to be televised again June 21....

There was a competitor several years ago that looked an awful lot like Dozer. I thought maybe it was taking FRC Kick-off off in order to get pumped up to compete...
