58 is in!
Are teams still allowed to bring two robots? I loved the experience last year to compete against my own team.

Until further notice, yes. However, we may have to ask teams to only bring one robot if the event fills up. Plenty of time to figure that out, though.
Please make sure to fill out the registration form once for each robot.

Volunteers Wanted!
We are T-49 days, 15 hours, and 50 minutes from pits opening at BOtB, not that I'm counting or excited or anything.
We also need volunteers for the last Off-Season of the 2015 season!
We're looking for Scorers, Field Reset, a couple Queuers, a few more Refs, and maybe some miscellaneous volunteers. While it's not required, extra hands for set-up and tear-down would be great!
You can register to be a volunteer here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XHaP0qxasw5-4t-qJXPRcS4wy4awFmVfk9f8_2zZK1s/viewform).
Join today!
If you have questions about volunteering, shoot me a pm or an email to BigBadBob319 (at) gmail (dot) com, and put "BOtB Volunteer Question" in the subject line.

319 is excited for this weekends Battle of The Bay. In keeping with our thanksgiving theme we have created a special container worth extra points if scored. Extra Extra Points if you can "turkey noodle" that soup.

Glad to see you guys picked so highly! Hope everything went well.
So the original alliance #6 was captained by 501, with the first pick being 3476 (our practice robot) and the random pick being 85 (58's practice robot). It just so happened that 319 underestimated the amount of teams going, and invited our practice bots to come without paying an entry fee. However, there were two teams that DID pay entry fees that didn't get selected for alliances, so 319 asked us if we would remove our practice robots from competition and ask 238 and 1721 to play with 501. We all unanimously agreed, and alliance #6 became 501, 238, and 1721. We will have both 3476s and 3467s match videos uploaded to Youtube soon, and I will post them here once they are done. Also, great job to 5813, your robot was AWESOME - you played like veterans. We can't wait to compete with you in the regular season!

I would like to thank 1519 and 213 for being such awesome alliance partners and 4564, 319, and 1922 for playing hard. The finals were so intense and so close, what a way to end recycle rush! Battle of the bay was tons of fun and I know I can't wait until next year!

I agree! It was tons of fun! And thank you Windup for picking us! As a mentor, it was great fun watching all the teams interact and having such a good time.
Battle of the Bay was a terrific event. :) What a perfect way to end out an FRC season. Thanks Bob for hosting all of us!
Glad to see you guys picked so highly! Hope everything went well.
Thanks, Jay. ;) We had some ups and downs, but we had a fantastic time. I would like to thank 4564 for lending us surgical tubing for our can grabber (I'm glad we finally got it working near the end of our qualification matches), 319 for lending us a radio after our radio broke last week, and 1519 for lending us a robot signal light for the event. 319 did such a great job hosting this event that we will definitely be coming back next year. :D

Okay, that makes sense. ;) 5813 will be uploading some of our match videos to Youtube as well.
Thank so much, Emile! :D We can't wait to play with you next season as well. Your team is incredible. ;)

Thank you for hosting an amazing event 319! It was a lot of fun as always. Everything was nicely done this year, especially the Turkey noodle soup can, it was a fun addition to the game. And thank you to our alliance of pink and black of 151, 172 and 5122!

C.H.A.O.S. had an awesome time at Battle of the Bay yesterday. Thank you to 319 for once again hosting a fantastic event, we couldn't think of a better way to end our 2015 off-season.
On a personal note, I had a great time reffing BotB and working with the amazing volunteers that made the event possible. And a shout-out to 5813 for having a crazy cool robot for their first event ever. It was a blast watching you guys on the field, and I look forward to seeing you during the 2016 season.

EmileH described the situation correctly. We should have considered the fact that there were 26 robots and 24 spots, but it slipped our mind in the hustle to get Battle of the Bay ready. After alliance selections, we were approached by a few very astute individuals that caught our oversight. HUGE thanks to 501, 3467, and 58 for being so gracious and helping us out with the situation. Everybody got to play in eliminations in the end.
319 had an absolute blast this weekend! Thanks to all the teams that came out to send off Recycle Rush in style!
5813 is going to be a force to be reckoned with next year. They haven't even been to an official event and had a full scouting team as well as a robot capable of putting up 2+ full stacks in a match.
2648 deserves a huge shoutout for sticking with it and producing a very capable robot. Well deserved win!
1922 was a clutch performer on 319's and 4564's alliance, we wouldn't have been able to take the finals to 3 games without you guys pulling almost every container off the step each match.

Thanks for the shout out. I am a mentor on 1922, which was completely student run for this event. I left for lunch knowing that our robot was not really able to do much to contribute to the alliance. When I came back 319 and 4564 were scrambling to help us add the can grabber to our bot. The students were very excited to be able to help. It was great to see the cooperation and to show our newer members what FIRST is all about.
Thanks!

This past weekend was so much fun! I had an amazing time scoring at Battle Of the Bay, and I got to make a few friends during the setup and at competition!
Which reminds me, does anyone from 319 have a picture of everyone in the Tote Fort? I wanted to set that as my avatar, since I had so much fun with you guys. :D
Wanted to also say what a great job our pre-rookie team did at BOtB! I hope you guys have a great 2016 season!
Here are the match videos from 3467/3476.

I didn't attend BotB, but from what I heard, it sounded like a very well-run event again... a tremendous thank you to 319 and everyone who made it possible!
From what I heard the eliminations - particularly the finals - were some VERY tight matches... valiant efforts on all sides! Thank you to 213 and 2648 for making it possible; you guys were great!

Orange Chaos had an amazing time at this year's Battle of the Bay, and would like to thank 319 and all of the great volunteers for a well-run and exciting event!

This was definitely a highlight of the event for my team. It was a ton of fun to work with 319 and 1922 in making the can grabber, and 1922's great drivers made it work quite well!
Special thanks to 319 for being our alliance partners once again, we love working with your team. Also, thanks to 1922 for rounding out our alliance perfectly. And finally, congratulations to 1519, 2648, and 213 for winning and showing our new members just how intense the elimination rounds can get!

It definitely was interesting coaching(I typically drive offseasons), especially on that amount of sleep. But I can now say I have slept on an FRC field, something not many can say they have done.
