Hello everyone! I hope you all are having/had a great summer break, and are excited for the new FRC season that is right around the corner.

Let me introduce myself, I am Austin Celada, from Team 5719, and I am this years Captain and more than likely the Head Programmer as well. Last year was our rookie year, so we didn't want to go over the top and waste time building something that may not work, so we decided not to use Pneumatics, even though it would have been very helpful with Recycle Rush. This year however, I plan to make a better robot than the previous one, so in case this year's competition is easier with Pneumatics, I would like to learn how to program it.

So what I am wondering, is if anyone knows of a decent way to self-teach it, or another way to learn it. If not, but you know the basics to it, I would appreciate it if you shared it with me.

I hope everyone has a great FRC season, and maybe we'll see you at a competition.

Pneumatics are actually very easy to program... Your pressure switch is directly connected to you PCM and with the new control system you don't even need to interact with the compressor. Solenoids can be set to On or Off using the .Set() function

Double solenoids have 2 valves so you can set them either forward or reverse, or off.

I think you'll learn all by yourself in about an hour just by playing with it :D

There are have tutorials here for setting up the compressor:
https://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/4485/m/13809/l/241865-operating-a-compressor-for-pneumatics

And code for solenoids:
https://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/4485/m/13809/l/241866-operating-pneumatic-cylinders-solenoids

And a guide on plumbing can be found on the first website:
