There's nothing in the 2015 rules that says the Human Player actually has to be human.

Is recycling the Recycle Rush totes into doghouses a crazy idea or a crazy-good business idea?

dodar

FIRST never was good at spending money. After running out of zipties, they just bought dogs to keep the totes closed at kickoff.

The hounds of hell guarding the 2015 game piece! No goats going to get my totes.

I'm sorry, puppies stacked on totes are not bonus points, no matter how cute the puppy is.

Programmers are always grumbling about the Watchdog. Frankly, I don't see what the big deal is.

Guard puppies in FRC? What's next?!?!?!

829's new secret weapon in getting the most out of build season: outsource sleep to the pros.

Proof of need for a new rule: "No puppy cuteness is allowed to influence the judges' decisions for the the Imagery Award."

As seen on FIRST Q&A:
Q: Cute dog?
A: Yes, cute dog.

[npoe] Thanks IKE [npoe]

This is not what we meant when we said you have to seal the crate!

(Besides, that's not even a seal. It's a sea lion dog.)

Who can tell? I'm pretty sure it's a mammal, non-human, and non-bat. Can't tell much beyond that. Could be otter, dog, seal, or rat.

Just remember containers placed on the puppy don't count as scored

Off-season rule change idea: each Alliance gets a puppy to play defense for them. Puppies can descore stacks, sleep on totes, and immobilize the opponents with cuteness.

The team tried using a new type of tethered mini-bot. The only issue so far has been letting it cool down after matches...

I hereby declare a new rule, the "Billfred is swimming too much rule", that allows the judging of the contest to be delayed whenever residents of his state are considering building arks.

(Best wishes to all those in the flooded areas.)

Thanks for the kind words. Despite my area's notoriety for flooding, we got away with nothing besides some low water pressure, a boil water advisory, and a limited menu at the Waffle House (https://twitter.com/WmLeverette/status/651023441097789440). (Oh, and the city curfew.) 4901's shop was spared despite being just across the street from Gills Creek that's flooded so badly (if there's a deity running the show that reads Chief: thanks!), and we're trying to get a hold of other teams in the area to check on them and their members. 2815's school was used as a shelter briefly, 3976's school is a water distribution point; I expect some students from both schools (if not the teams) to be out of their houses for a while. Lester Holt anchored NBC Nightly News tonight from about two and a half miles away, along a road I drive several times a week; obviously, not everyone in town was anywhere near as lucky as my family and I were. If anyone has a few bucks to spare, you can donate online (https://www.uway.org/news/flood-disaster-relief-fund).

Shall we get on something lighter?

First place goes to:

Here we see Schrödinger's dog making sure that the cat doesn't get out of the box alive.

Second place goes to:

Programmers are always grumbling about the Watchdog. Frankly, I don't see what the big deal is.

And the burn award goes to:

And not a scratch behind the ears was found.
(I mean, come on!)
