Initial Event Registration
Blog Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2015 - 09:34
We hope the teams who have registered so far for the 2016 season have had a smooth experience. From the FIRST HQ side, the initial rush seemed to go pretty well, and we haven’t had many calls or emails about system issues. But, what’s important is your experience, not ours. If you have any feedback on your registration experience, please send your comments to frcteams@usfirst.org, or give our friendly team support folks a call at 800-871-8326 extension zero.
Here’s a photo of a graph showing CPU load shortly after initial registration. Check out that spike around Noon!

(Photo showing registration spike. Happy IT folks (out of shot) sing, dance, and play their vuvuzelas.)
Still Your Chance to Help with the 2017 Championship
As I noted in this blog (http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/blog-Your-Chance-to-Help-FIRST-with-the-2017-Championship), we’re looking for a community member to participate on a team that will be making recommendations to FIRST leadership on elements of the 2017 Championship. Check out the details in the original blog, and please send those emails in by Wednesday, September 30th! We have a number of good applications so far, but would like a large pool to draw from.
