Safety theme

Does anybody know if it has been released what the theme is for the safety animation

I don't think either the theme or really any information has been released on the FIRST website for the safety animation. The only thing on the site is the 2015 winners and last year's theme. A few weeks ago it said on TIMS that they were gonna release the 2016 them in early October but now it says TBD I'm pretty sure

Does anyone else feel that the animation theme isn't as good as it usually is?

In TIMS, it now looks like the anamation dead line Is December 10th, instead of January. . Am I reading this wrong

Definitely a date mismatch.
In the past the Safety Animation deadline has been in early December, and since TIMS is where it gets entered...
Nope, everywhere else says Jan 21 at 3pm.

I believe that the correct date is January 21st, 2016.

If you look at a cached version of the usfirst.org site (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:c-j7a3_1uigJ:www3.usfirst.org/comment/2726+&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us) (man I hate how all of the old links are now broken), the first question reads:

According to one of our lead mentors, the submission deadline for the Safety Animation Award Competition is listed as Dec 11 in TIMS, but Jan 21 on the FIST Safety web page. Which is correct? Thanks!

with the response being:

The Safety Animation Video is due on January 21, 2016 at 3pm (ET) as outlined on the FRC Safety Page. We are working to correct the date in TIMS now!

But, don't take my word for it. Email FIRST directly to find out the official answer. And then post the reply here to let other teams know as well.
