These look great. How did you all make the bases?

The lights are actually from one of these Harbor Freight flashlights (http://www.harborfreight.com/3-12-in-9-led-mini-flashlight-69052.html). The LEDs were soldered into a strip and the button side of the flashlight body was kept intact so the button switch could be functional. The base is just a block of wood coated in urethane with a slot in the bottom for the electronics and a slot in the top for the acrylic. Here's a photo of the button side.
