I don't know if anyone brought this up on CD yet but I didn't see it... I just thought about the video posted on usfirst.org (http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/blog-Duck-Vine) and what I first thought about that when it came out:

One squeaky duck toy = a squeaky duck toy

Dozens of squeaky duck toys = the Visigoths descending on Rome

Visigoths descended on Rome led by Alaric I.
"Alaric is best known for his sack of Rome in 410, which marked a decisive event in the decline of the Roman Empire." (from Wikipedia)

And, as we know now, the theme of this year's challenge is Middle Age...

"In European history, the Middle Ages or Medieval period lasted from the 5th to the 15th century. It began with the collapse of the Western Roman Empire" (from Wikipedia again :) )

So, even if a lot of people said that the duck vine post was worthless, it was still a hint, maybe, for someone, somewhere...

This doesn't help anyone on any point but, hey, I thought it was fun to share!

Scoring object = sacks

Also, visigoths is an anagram of hogs visit. Paging Andy Baker ...

I wouldn't call that duck video a hint...

When is a Game Hint not a Game Hint?

There are probably a few good answers to this question, including:

1. When it’s not preceded by words equivalent to “This is a game hint”

2. When it’s a video teaser for the season

It's a glimpse at a hint?
