Hello chief Delphi! I have been looking around lately and haven't found much about a game hint other than the stronghold video. Have any of you guys found another hint or have anything to say about the video?
Thanks,
Drew
Any game hints will be specifically stated as so on the official FRC Blog (http://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/frc/blog/).

Great, now Chief will be full of people meticulously looking through that video for a hint

If it was actually filmed at the field, the angle of the video camera indicates that there are elements of the field at eye level.
good timing!

Also, the rumor that the recently released 2016 FIRST Robotics Competition Administrative Manual contains a hidden game hint is a total fabrication. If there's a way to get the community to collectively pour over every word in the Admin Manual, that's it.
Clever move, Frank, clever move....
Here's the real hint:

Something is fabricated - but it doesn't say whether it's the rumor or the hint that is a fabrication, nor by whom it was fabricated. (That is, if the GDC fabricated a hint and hid it in the Admin manual, this statement would be completely true.)
Edit: And OBTW, we've already gotten more this year from the "teaser" than we ever got from the "hint". The last I-don't-know-how-many hints have just been riddles to part of the name of the game.
The title of the short clip was call security breach and with the teaser trailer being a medieval theme .Possibly based on the hint from the admin manual was "Fabrication" so their referencing the field walls of the playing field

Maybe the Admin Manual is a total fabrication.

We must fabricate a fortress out of Admin manuals.

Look at the banner guy walk by and the light that he fixates on, and the sound of charging army in the background. This is a great addition to FRC's new branding campaign for the game this year!
So, the robot fabrication rules must be changing?
Wait. Fabrication. Shorten to Fabric (you know Frank and puns). Fabric robots!?! it's the dreaded "Sewing game"

That's called a "standard" its a branded team banner that we make. It then hangs above the alliance station during Matches.

If you look closely at the reflection in his eyes you can clearly see the field and all of its elements. These new high-def cameras are something these days.

*obviously angles camera up at basketball hoop*
shooting game confirmed
Look at what is on the standard. There is 3 dog bone looking objects, then what looks like 3 nuts and 3 bolts

They're open-end wrenches. Wrenches, nuts and bolts - wow, we've never used those in FRC before! (Unless the robots have to manipulate them, of course!)
Edit: Actually, now that I look more carefully - the primary fields on a quartered flag are the upper right and lower left (from the standpoint of the flag, not the observer), which are sable (black). Maybe the robot will have to navigate in a blind place, as suggested in the original teaser thread when the robot's eyes lit up after the video got darker.
I would expect some sort of game hint to be released in the coming days, based on previous data:

Part of my brain is going "Cool, a list of dates and how many 'clues' have been in prior years". The other part is going "Wait, what, How does he know this?!?"
Thanks for posting, it was cool to go back and see how useless the clues really are until after the reveal.

After careful analysis of the reflection of his glasses, I can determine that most of the game elements will be composed of 100% denim, that the moat in the center of the field has a drawbridge, that the flags will be placed underwater :ahh:, and that there is a clothesline spanning the top of the field, which robots must throw jeans onto to lower the drawbridge and get bonus points.

The other part is going "Wait, what, How does he know this?!?" Because Ryan knows all. For example, he seems to have premonitions when Blogs are coming out, because he's the first to post them to CD. Which I appreciate greatly, not being associated with team and not getting email blasts.
Shooting a cannon / footballs at a wall of totes that lowers a drawbridge across a moat. You cross the bridge to raise / capture a flag and take it back to your elevated platform. Moat = WATER GAME !!!!
