We had about 1000 feet of bubble wrap at the museum for the haunted house thing...the public never got to use it for walking over dead bugs...a couple other interns and i stole it all and proceed to go to the roof laid it all over the ground up there and we then decided to run away and fall in order to pop it...fun times...

there is a radio station here that has what they call torture tuesday where they get this one guy to do really stupid stuff. one time they wrapped him in bubble wrap and he rolled down a huge set of steps...he always has his cell with a headset and you can hear him holler and huff and puff. it was pretty funny.

so it has been done!

guess what everybody?

i work at a packaging place... if you have any questions on bubble wrap just let me know because i work with it almost every day. bubble wrap comes in different size bubbles... theres the small 1/2 inch bubble and then theres the large uber cool 1 1/2 inch bubble :) bubble wrap actually is shipped in absolutely nothing the majority of the time. sometimes its put in shrink wrapping or plastic bags of sorts. i have access to a almost limitless supply of bubble wrap and i do often find myself popping bubbles. though once youve worked at a place with high amounts of bubble you find that you have a lowered interest in popping them.

hehe, yeah, i have a lotta nerve... it's mostly up and down my spinal column, and in my head, but it's there... :p

I tend to like to keep annoying people to a minimum, and care of packed objects to a maxumin... I'm just weird like that...

Bubble wrap rules! I need to find one of those books too! I always look forward to shipping date for the robot to wrap it as many times as possible in bubble wrap, then plaster that with duct tape!

Just a side comment, caffeine didn't bother me either for years because I had so much of it. However, after not being able to have it for almost a whole year, it tends to be very potent! Lets say I had really good friends who would bring me energy drinks during long build nights, which resulted in a very weird video being recorded and my love for KMX!!!

I had a 20 foot by 3 foot strip of it once, the big bubbles ones to be specific. . . layed it in the driveway and drove over it, very slowly.

OMG, THAT BOOK IS THE ULTIMATE GAG GIFT!!!

Jon K.
30-07-2002, 17:42
you really want to get someone with a gift get something small like a gag gift put it in a small box, then wrap the box, and keep doing this with progressively larger boxes. it is so much fun to watch them go through about 5or6 boxes and then get something really tiny in return

I made a gag gift like that once, only with origami envelops. I made about 15 of them, each one smaller then the next and put them all togetther then gave it to my Mom. It was fun to watch her open them all to the last one where there was nothing inside. I wish I still knew how to make them.
