Hey everyone!

Our team (5940) has been trying out different strategies and thought that a calculator might be useful so as to save time.

We put together a simple spreadsheet to calculate:

Individual Autonomous and Teleop scores
Penalties (Generic and Technical Fouls)
Tower durability
Ranking Points per team
Winner of each round including total scores

We will be updating this frequently with anything that our team/this community finds beneficial. Feel free to also include any bugs that you find in the comments section and I'll work on fixing them ASAP.

Regards,
Gravity (Team 5940)

Sounds awesome, would it be possible to make the google sheet public though?

File sharing is fixed, allowed comments to be posted on the sheet as well.

May be worth saying "strength" instead of "durability" so it matches the manual.

Ohh yeah, was going to change that a while ago, thanks!

Also, I noticed the "Boulder: High Tower" on the Blue page cause the Red Tower Durability to go up, not down. :)

Awesome, thanks for finding that!

This is really cool!

Am I wrong on the rules, or shouldn't boulders scored in auto reduce the tower strength as well?

I noticed this as well, and the rules don't say anywhere that an auto boulder decrements the tower strength, but I would imagine it.

As I've stated this is a work in progress so I'll be sure to add that ASAP. Thanks for mentioning that! :]

@Gravity,

I made a copy of your (super-helpful) calculator, and made some additions.
Do I have your permission to post the updated version, with credit to your team?

Thanks a bunch!

I'm having trouble opening this document on an iPad, is this file not compatible with iPads?

If you open it with the "Google Sheets" app (Free from Google) you should be fine. I doubt it will work in any other app.
