Recently I have been playing Super Smash Brothers: Melee for Gamecube alot. While playing and damage is being put on each player, the numbers remind me of FIRST Robotics. Example: someone gets 173% damage and I say, "Hey, 173, team Rage" or some one gets 237 and I say, "273, team Tribe". I have yet to see 810% damage. (person usally gets knocked off before that point) Has anything like this ever happen to anyone else, or am I just that crazy (for FIRST ;)).

I don't think you can get to 810%...considering the sudden death match mode starts you at 300%, and one good hit at that point, and you're done...

On a trip, by car, to LA and back, both I and my brother Bill Gold were doing the exact same thing with mile markers, and such...
Kinda funny...
I have this tendency to go to bed at ~2:58am...

I always seem to do this during school or whenever i go out to eat fast food.....Since we are allowed to go out to eat lunch during school we always go to fast food places and whenever u get your receipt it always has a number on it incase they have a lot of people waiting for food...and i always look at it and think of what team it is......
:D
Yeah, that tends to happpen to me alot. The majority of the numbers I see I can relate to a team that I am familiar with. The last one I noticed was on this site. A screenshot of that is attached below. This is just one of the side effects of spending so much time in FIRST.
that is weird joel but ya in that bublet game i kept having averages with the different team numbers usually rage and buzz but that is because i have low scores but ya i am associating random numbers with teams alot too

I've played Super Smash Brothers (for N64) and gotten up over 500%, but it would still be quite hard to get to 810%.

If you are careful, you are able to get to any number you want. Unfortunately, I have not been careful enough. If you know what attacks do how much damage, it can be done. That is what I ma working on. :)
And Ian, I too am waiting for the date to be 8/10. I think I AM crazy (for FIRST)

Just watch how often the number 47 appears each day.
There are web sites devoted to the number 47. Try searching 47 with any search engine.

My end of the year speech at the banquet was a power point presentation about the number 47.
I could go on and on about the number 47 but I will leave that to you.
Opps! It is 9:47 and my watch alarm just went off, got to go.[URL]

I was at a minor-league baseball game last night and saw two different guys with a .201 batting average. I thought that was really cool. Also last night, I was staying at a hotel in room 269. My first thought was "Hey, that's Cooney-Quest." I notice team numbers in random places all the time too, though. I've done it in Super Smash Bros, with time (my watch goes off at 2:01), and anything else.
i've yet to see a baseball player with my team number as their average...
Ehhh I forgot my team number?? I didn't even know what it was from the beginning.

Getting 810% isn't that hard... Pichu or Pikachu cornering somebody large like DK or Bowser (Starfox levels, anyone?) and just smacking them silly with light flurry attacks should get them up there within 10 minutes...
Whenever I see it's 4:22 PM (never seen AM yet, thankfully) I always smile a little bit.

It's all about the XBOX. I think I've killed sooo many aliens in that game, could be any number.

The below average batting pitcher could have a batting average of .045 :D

Or Rey Ordonez.
Yeah, we see our team number everywhere: 3:11, 3/11 (though we weren't thinking that this year), .311, plus apparently there's some alternative rock group we share nomenclature with.
You know, the one we straight-up lifted our logo from during our first year.

Somewhat similar story actually... back in 10th grade, after coming back from the nationals, I think it was, I had a chemistry test. Well the magic number when dealing with Kelvin is 273. My old team, RAGE was 173... I got alot wrong on that test. Go FIRST.
