figured this would be a good place to leave this, since I accessed this on my computer the site has some issues on my screen, everything gets pixely and hard to read but only on the main page.

I can't tell if that is intentional. Is the site made for mobile but not a browser? It's actually hard to tell if any information is on the screen because all you see at first is that giant picture. It also looks like the picture is in some separate frame from the page, maybe take it out of that frame? The pixelation James mentioned above is probably artifacting from compression. Using a different file extension (and a higher quality image) could help with that.

The main target of this site is being accessed by mobile devices (probably during competitions) and the user interface is designed accordingly.

Improving the desktop experience will go on the request list

We made a few updates based on feedback here and in the survey (http://goo.gl/forms/nKXO7gVprt).


Home page sizing is different between mobile and desktop
On desktop, moved buttons to the top, and added links to FIRST and the official safety PDF.
On desktop made the home page image smaller.
On desktop made all text 50% bigger.
