AM14U3 Opening kit bumpers question!

I am wondering, based on the rulings in 4.7, R19, which has a statement "... If a side is shorter than 8 in., the entire side must be protected by
BUMPER..." If you use this kit from AndyMark (http://www.andymark.com/AM14U3-p/am-14u3-fro.htm) but the two halves of the End Sheet are less than 6", all we need to do is cover them completely in bumper and it is legal?

As far as bumper rules are concerned, the front of the robot in the Andymark link is 1 side. The fact that there is a cutout in it doesn't matter, so you still need 8 inches of bumper on each side of the outside corners.
