I would love to know what size and type of wheels every one oped for this year. Having read many threads over the last three weeks I looks like I might be in the minority by using 6" pneumatic wheels. So what wheels did you choose and what made you choose them?
PS how do I add a poll?
PPS found it.

We're using two different sizes of wheel - 6" and 4" AndyMark Hi-Grip wheels in a mock tank tread fashion.
12 inch wheels with a lift kit.

That must be a pain to gear down. The driving factor in wheel size for me as the designer was making the smallest possible wheels work. That way we could have a small gearbox with small reductions. I like things small.

At one point, we were at 14 inch wheels, reduced with chains.
Currently (and probably finally) we have 8 8" wheels and 2 4" wheels, all non-pneumatic, three different treads.
Edit: I checked other.

A bunch of tiny little feet like a centipede.
Can't wait to see these guys in action! :p
Six 8.5" pneumatic wheels, standard drop-center. It's the first time since 2011 we've had more than 4 wheels. Man is this thing heavy...

I suspect that most if not all of the tiny little feet and mecanum responses are from trolls.

We are using 4" mecanum. And I'm not entirely trolling you.

And at least a couple of the flying ones.

Flying for the win!
But in all seriousness, I believe we're using 6 to 8" pneumatic wheels.
4 8" pneumatics, 4 8" 2010 smooth rubber wheels in pairs and 2 6" treaded wheels. Only the pneumatic wheels are powered though.
Might throw on some 4" treaded wheels for good measure.

Can't wait to unveil our AT-AT robot drivetrain! Just need to fine tune the "kneel down and crawl under the low bar" routine. ;)

If 207 builds a suspension system, then all the other teams with suspension will look crude by comparison. No fair!

That 207 setup does look really nice, reminds me of a rc truggy, there robots are always amazing. I don't know about suspensions looking crude though especially when these guys are your new sponsors http://www.rosta.ch/index.php?lang=2.

Different size and type wheels in each DT position. We may have a mentor off of 33... http://frcdesigns.com/2013/06/24/behind-the-design-2012-killer-bees/
