the old first website did a good job letting us know about the other teams at our event. ie past awards won ect. i cant find good info on the new site or TBA any suggestions?

TBA works if you go team by team year by year that's what we use mainly to judge past results, worked last year. For the most part past results seem to be a good indicator.

You should be able to go to the blue alliance click on the team and then manually scroll the each year of the team and see the awards that they won at each regional. If they won any awards then it should appear underneath their ranking for that regional.

What kind of info are you looking for specifically?

The Blue Alliance, as you mentioned, provides information that also includes past awards, though you may have to do a little bit of clicking to past years to get to it.

What awards and otherwise are you looking for that The Blue Alliance doesn't list? Also, what are a couple of the teams you are having a hard time finding info for?

Edit: You have scrolled through the years and the history tabs of TBA and aren't stuck on 2016, right?

That'll take you to the new site for that team. Unfortunately, they don't link from the events pages anymore.

There is also an archived version of the old site that's reasonably up-to-date--but I don't remember how to get there.

TBA does have an API that will let you get bulk information with fewer requests. Click on the "Hack on The Blue Alliance" to find an option that works for you.

Three easy steps:

1. On TBA, go to the page for the event you're looking into.
2. Click a team
3. In the page url, replace "/2016" with "/history"

For example: http://www.thebluealliance.com/team/1676/history
