Hey guys! I am having troubles with the java dashboard. When I open the dashboard its crushing. I don't know what is the problem, but I think it's something with the configuratin. Does anyone knows where is the location of the dashboard file? Or how can I fix that?

I remember to fix the Smart Dashboard I just reinstalled everything.
You can find the executable jar file here:
C:\Users\USER\wpilib\tools\SmartDashboard.jar
If it's a problem with the configuration file and it doesn't have the right file path you can edit it here, so it runs on start up.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\FRC\FRC DS Data Storage
and edit the command line line so it uses the SmartDashboard.jar filepath above on startup.

It didn't help. The java dashboard is still crushing, unlike the default dashboard that works just fine.

Yea ... I had that problem originally too. The way I ended up fixing it was reinstalling Java which made eclipse break but I got smartdashboard then I reinstalled Eclipse and everything worked out.
You may not find a more elegant solution, so I'd advise reinstalling so you can get back to work during build season ASAP.
Good luck!

You are not alone too, here's the forum I started earlier in build season. I really just ended up reinstalling.

Thanks to everyone. I found the configuration file and I deleted it, and now the java SmartDashboard is working.
