We were using Surgical tubing for our intake it is very grippy when new but as it gets dirty it looses grip. What is the best way to clean this stuff?

On our polyurethane rollers last year we used germ-x and a cloth to clean it off. Rubbing alcohol is really what we were after but the jelly-like consistency made it convenient.

Potentially acetone (nail polish remover) might work, or it won't and instead might eat your intake. Try with caution.

We used rubbing alcohol to clean and re-gripify our colsons last year. The same technique could work for surgical tubing.

In 2014 we used rubbing alcohol to clean our intake rollers too. We found that wet wipes were very easy to transport and apply. We just kept a box of them on the robot cart and it made the process simple.

While I haven't done this in the past, I agree with the suggestion of alcohol; it should dissolve or colloid the same stuff that will stick to the rubber. If you're going to do some experimentation, add baby wipes to the list of things to test. They're alcohol based, very convenient, and easy to source in a pinch.
