I have noticed that there are a lot of different cartoon references on the site. I am very interested in animation and cartoons so i want to know.... what are your favorite cartooons? I think my favorite is rather obvoius

Transformers (the old one), both Sonic cartoons, the Star Trek animated series from the sixties, the Simpsons, and a few others I can't remember right now...

Is it just me, or has the quality in animation gone down since we were kids? All the cartoons I used to watch seemed a lot more realistic.

Mission Hill is probably the funniest cartoon on at the moment, besides the Simpsons. And no, not everything on Nickelodeon is intended for a 5 year old. Only people who don't watch it say that.

King of the Hill is funny too.

The Simpsons are my favorite, with my favorite character being Groundskeeper Willie.

There was a cartoon on television (in 1998 I think) called Stressed Eric, which was pretty gross (oh, that poor donkey), but I really loved it for some reason. It was a British cartoon, and didn't last long on American t.v.

South Park can be funny, but the novelty wears off... after 30 seconds...


I also have great memories of Batman: The Animated Series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and X-Men (not Evolution, or whatever this new crap is).

My favorite cartoon would have to be rugrats. It definately reminds me of when i was younger. I used to sit on the couch with my dad and watch it.

My favourite is Sealab 2021... it's awesome. The Brak Show is pretty great too, as well as Harvey Birdman. Actually I like pretty much all the Adult Swim cartoons. Spongebob too, and The Simpsons of course. I like most cartoons... alright.

I agree with Katie ... Rugrats is great :) I like the Simpsons and South Park too - but I hardly ever have time to watch TV :(

Cowboy Bebop is in my mind, the greatest anime of all time. I mean come on... It has no flaws. Perhaps I am obsessive, but hey, its just so good. Even if you hate the show, you can't hate the music. It's impossible. Don't fight it.

I wanted to name this years robot Faye or the Red Tail, but figured no one on my team would go for it.

The first two seasons of Rugrats were awesome, then it declined.

About TMNT, I only have one thing to say. "He's a radical rat!" -from the theme song, an excellent quote.

And "Tank!" is an awesome theme song. You can really get down to it. I feel that funky Japanese jazz.
