Driver Station SmartDashboard Issues

Using a Windows 7 32-bit laptop as our DS, and we are using the Smartdashboard.

However, nothing shows up on the smartdashboard.
If we open Eclipse, and use OutlineViewer, the values we have put on the SmartDashboard show up.
If we use any other computer we have, the SmartDashboard displays data just fine.

Any ideas?
(On occasion turning mDNS on and then back off fixes it, but only temporarily, and it doesn't always work)

mDNS has always been patchy. We assigned an IP reservation on our routers for the rio at 10.te.am.2 and just used that IP for everything. For example in the sfx dashboard you would go to the source option on the bottom left of the widgets sidebar and set the host to 10.te.am.2
