It's some sort of anime. All I know is that it is a piece of burnt bread that is depressed, but I can't remeber the name of it right now.

Yes. I've seen a commercial for the bread thing. Looks kinda stupid though.

That is Kogepan! kogpan is a piece of bread who got burned by the baker. He hates his life and is depressed. When he gets angry, he sleeps. He just wants to be accepted like the other bread, but no one wants him. :(

I hope that's not a personal commentary on Trashed20.
Just felt the need to defend my compatriots. I have an affinity toward all teams in the greater Detroit area (ask me about it later).
Say....what's up with FIRSTnut? His signature looks like the beginnings of the answers from a twenty questions game.
Is he inviting us to solve the mystery of who he is? You'll notice in his profile that there is almost no information given.
That last line of his is deliciously spooky isn't it?

Lets see here, you know I'm a living being who's 5 hours behind GMT, I have old school connections, I speak Klingon, I am not an actor/actress, and I'm not Ken. I wonder if that helps any.
Above you will find FIRSTnut_000's signature. I did some research and found out that the time zone 5 hours behind GMT is the Eastern Time Zone which means he is a living being some where on the east coast. Does anybody here know Kilngon, maybe start a thread asking for some more clues to his/her identity. I'm not sure about the old school connections part. But I'm working on it. Anybody want to help?

I am all who is FIRST. When it dies, I die. But I'm not going to let that happen..."
This is a very intresting sentence, If I remeber correctly at Nationals there were many people Dean Kamen included that said that they would do everyting with in there power to make sure that nothing happens to FIRST. Does anybody remember who else said that becides Dean?
Mike Schroeder

My only guess is that is is Dean, or Bart, Or Woody, or Paul Allaire, or an sponsor of a team - because it is the sponsors that keep first alive w/o companies like Bristol Myers Squibb ( Cheap Sponsor Plug) or J&J or (ummm) Delphi Automotive (gotta get on Brandons Good Side :D ) or Nasa, First would not exist, or it would but there would only be like 50 teams that can afford to do it solo instead of 1000. thats my best guess, or its jeb bush he said him liked first (and has a brother in a super high place)

I thought that when FIRSTnut_000 said old-school, they meant that they had been affiliated with FIRST for a long time. And I figure that he/she may already be a member of CD, maybe one that hasn't posted in a while? Finally, I think that FIRSTnut_000 is/was a student member, not one of the sponsors. As for the last quote, almost any harcore FIRST-a-holics would qualify. Who thinks that FIRST needs saving? And why?
This is all supposition and opinion, so feel free to disagree.

Well said Mr./or Ms. Nut. (whoever you are) Anonymity is priceless to some and probably should be respected. After all, look at the horrible things the press and crazy fans did to the Kennedy's and the royal family of Great Britian. (Disgusting!)
Perhaps a signature change is a good idea, since it does look almost like an invitation to the puzzle solving types found here.
If anonymity is what you require to be able to relax and be yourself, I will be your number one supporter from now on, because quite frankly, I like who you are in these posts. I wouldn't want to lose that.

Here is a translation. A colleague of mine here at Delphi is a well-known Klingonist. I sent him the above clip and he translated it.
----------------
tlhIngan Hol DajatlhlaH 'e' DaneH'a'?
"Do you want that you can speak the Klingon language?"
(This sentence is apparently taken from a very old FAQ on Klingon. It has a tell-tale ungrammatical use of the pronoun {'e'} with the verb {neH}, along with an unnecessary {-laH}. Most Klingonists would ask {tlhIngan Hol Dajatlh DaneH'a'} instead.)
jIyajbe'
"I do not understand."
qaStaH nuq!
"What is happening!"
(This is sometimes used colloquially as "What's up?")
Heghle'neH QaQ jajvam.
(This is an obvious misspelling of {Heghlu'meH QaQ jajvam}, which is the proper phrasing of "Today is a good day to die.")
DIS!
(I'll assume this is "clipped Klingon" and translate it as the command "Confess!" even though it doesn't have the expected imperative prefix.)
batlh biHeghjaj!
"May you die with honor!"
(The second letter in the second word should be capitalized. There is no lowercase "i" in Klingon orthography.)
val!
This says "He is smart!"
(I think the {l} is there by accident, and it's just supposed to be {va}, a mild curse.)
DIS nuqDaq juH.
(The best I can make out here is that someone wants someone else to reveal the location of his home. It's not at all grammatical, though.)
chaH neH 'Ip.
"An oath wants them."
(I doubt that's what was intended. It might be an attempt to say "They want a promise.")
nuq juH!
This might be a very badly rendered "What home?".
chaH petaQ.
It's backwards for "They are [untranslatable epithet]."
Qapla'
"Success"
Anyway, there you go. No reason to be scared.

You're right, it is backwords. And "p'taQ" (there are multiple spellings for this) is a general insult. So you get "They are (insert random curse here)".
DIS nuqDaq juH.
(The best I can make out here is that someone wants someone else to reveal the location of his home. It's not at all grammatical, though.)
Really? I get (very roughly, BTW) something about an evil (or bad) place (which could be home too). You are right about it not being grammatical though.
And that's 3 people who can speak Klingon. :) reH bIyIntaHjaj 'ej bIchepjaj.
