Greetings from London, UK! We are team 1797 Phoenix, officially a rookie team but made up mostly of experienced members from our school’s original team, 1884. Our team is primarily student-led and we are proud to present our school’s very first reveal video.

Drivetrain:
6 wheels - 4 outer pneumatic (8”), 2 offset traction (6”)
Originally intended to have 4 traction wheels but found the above configuration to be more effective.

Defense Capabilities:
Everything except low-bar (sally port/drawbridge require more driver/operator manipulation)
Defense arms are powered by 2 AM 2924 gear-motors with a 2:1 chain reduction.

Shooting:
High goal from both close and far away (preferred spot is right next to the batter)
Powered by mini-cim with 1:1 ratio.
Computer vision to auto-align robot to preferred shooting spots

Intake:
Bands powered by bag motor with 15:1 reduction
Intake wheels - BaneBot 2 7/8”

Good luck to all teams and see you in New York!

Looks great excited to compete with you guys! Has 1884 released anything? Also just wondering what is the relationship between both of you guys?

Again great looking machine! See you in a few weeks.

Thanks! This year we decided to have two teams since we had so many students joining. 1884 are comprised of freshmen and new members while 1797 have upperclassmen and more experienced members. As far as I know, 1884 is not planning on releasing a reveal video.

Excited to compete with you guys in New York!

Great job on the robot guys! Can't wait to see it in action during the New York city regional.
Shame you couldn't make it to the FRC scrimmage, you would have made a great addition to the party. Hopefully next year right?
See you in New York!

Greetings from Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Very nice robot guys. Just wondering how do the arms sit inside the frame perimeter?

Very nice robot guys. Just wondering how do the arms sit inside the frame perimeter?

Thank You!
Although the arms are down for a lot of the video, they start fully upwards. In this configuration they are within the frame perimeter. When we cross defenses they are lowered in order to increase stability.

Hope this answers your question. Good luck to you and your team!
