You know what would be cool, a plugin for Trillian Pro that showed the latest threads / posts on CD, I have no idea how to do it...I just thought of it...:D

Is that like the yahoo toolbar for IE??? That would be cool too, to have a Chief Delphi Toolbar for IE or just a generic FIRST Toolbar with customizable icons and what not. Get on it Brandon! lol

Hmmm, in order to do this...
1. Break down and buy a copy of Trillian Pro.
2. Figure out the SDK
3. Write the plugin...
4. Hope enough other people buy Trillian Pro to actually use it...

We'll see...

I'm busy learning winamp 3 sdk, so I can help Wetzel with the 'what am i listening to' addition to the forums. :)

You cant use plugins in regular Trillian, only Pro!

I've started playing around with Trillian Pro and the sample plugin code that they provide...I'll be sure to pass along whatever I come up with...I'm starting on a tiein to the Private Messenger system here first...basically, notification that you recieved a new message, allowing you to read it and reply...eventually, I may try to add in a way for it to know who is online and create a FIM (FIRST Instant Messenger) of sorts...more info to come...

That would be sweet if you can figure everything out Nate... If you get certain permission and what not if user made plugins are released soon you may be able to edit them to help you out, or make it easier....just a thought....

/me thinks people shouldn't download Trillian Pro from Kazaa...

That said, there is not an adware version of Trillian, 0.74 just dosn't have plugin support, or much of any support for that matter. Slower development and such.
I think thats the only/major difference.

That said, can I see what you have so far Nate? I learned a bit about the Trillian interface trying to make a Winamp plugin that they made for me. Just never was able to get to data from Winamp over to Trillian...:rolleyes: :mad: nerg

Now for that argument paper due on Tuesday...
