I've really enjoyed meeting teams from China, Brazil and Australia this year. It makes me interested in taking my team to a competition in a different country, to get the dual whammy of robotics + cultural/travel experience. But it's a bit daunting. I would love some advice on:
How much families pay for travel/how much did it cost per student?
How to arrange group plane travel?
How to ship the robot and tools necessary to compete?
How long do you spend visiting the country/away from school?
Did you take your whole team?
Did it feel worth it?
