Kristian hope you guys make it to worlds. This looks like another monster robot from 25. Reminds me of some of the old 25 robots with the red. Good luck the rest of the way.

TechFire 225 is looking forward to playing on the same field as Team 25 and others at MAR Champs! Good Luck everyone. :-)

Thanks Drew! We're hoping to make it so we can visit with all of our Floridian friends. :)
We've received lots of nice comments about the red color scheme this year. We've been joking that we accidentally built a Simbot. Minus the fiberglass cross pieces for the chassis, we have spares of everything in blue.

We're looking forward to playing with TechFire too! We've been following your progress all season. It's hard to believe the last time we were on the same
side of the field was at MidKnight Mayhem in 2014. I'm crossing my fingers for at least one qualification match together this weekend!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to play a match with 25 last weekend :(
Though they're a low goal bot, they are a playmaker--they make everyone else look good, and their driver is one of the best. This is reflected well in their OPR, #2 at MAR champs ahead of us and behind 341. They took us to 3 matches in the finals through good management of the defenses.

Just curious - with your relatively low ground clearance, how does your drive avoid high-centering on the moat? It seems like from the picture the length of your wheelbase is perfect for getting stuck right in the middle of the moat. I'm sure you guys either have a novel solution or it's a non-issue for some reason I can't see from here, but I'm curious.

Normally, we just fly over the moat. If we do take it slow, the sideplates' low clearance and angled edges ensure there's always at least one set of wheels in contact with the surface of the moat as the robot dips down and back up over the edges.
