Teams:

We will be duelling this Saturday at Salem Community College. Teams 316 and 365, the organizers of the event, hope all 23 attending teams have a terrific time. We look forward to some intense (and graciously professional) competition, lots of fun, and noisy MOEStix.

See you on Saturday.

It is sure to be a great time.

It is also fun to look at the Rookies faces, the first time that you say "The bus is leaving at 6:00 AM"!!

Welcome to ROBOTICS!!!!!!

Everyone have a blast! Team 84's drivers will not be attending, because we are required to take the SAT's tomorrow. We wil have in people who have never even turned the robot on! Our team's bus is leaving at 3 am!

6am is early? Wow. That's sad.

I'm not going to bed tonight :) Going to a teammate's house in town and then driving over to the bus at 3am. (I'm driving...junior license...muah!)

If anybody cares to meet me, I'm with team 84. I'm exceptionally hard to miss :) Curly hair and miss-matched shoes (Red and Blue Converse All-Stars (chucks))

Well, the duel has now concluded and the winning alliance alliance was composed of Raider Robotix team 25 and Diablo team 87. And on behalf of MOE and all other teams present at the duel, congratulations!!

Hey I would like to Thank and congratulate Team 87 and umm team 87 for some great final matches and a great game of Iron Man Robotics (Iron Man Football Offense also plays Defense) that is right there were only 23 teams and that ment one alliance got the short end of the stick but we won any way so thanks. and also thanks to team 365 and 316 for a great competition

First of all, I want to thank our partners- 365 and 651...

What a final round- In my three years here at FIRST I've never seen anything like that..
I gotta admit the semis between 25, 87, and 122's alliance was probably the fastest round(s) I've seen- those robots were flying around the field.

Overall, I just want to thank Moe and the Lunatecs for hosting a great competition- Now I can't wait for Ramp Riot- Its gonna be a blast

The short end of the stick was not drawing your third alliance from a hat? I'd think sticking with the same two hand-picked (not randomly :)) bots would be the better of the sticks. Just my opinion...

true i am not complaining, but I think it was fairer cause then the 8th alliance would only have 2 bots instead of a random team

Hey Everyone! I sure did not enjoy sitting in a testing center all morning, then worrying about my 'bot all afternoon. I finally heard that we are going to Ramp Riot! We will see you there! The return of our drive team shall make things interesting for all of you, 'We were not ranked #10 in the world this year for nothing!'

*25 congrats! you guys are awesome, and I heard it was a real interesting finals.

Hey, Wheres the love for 87? we helped hand moe their butts also. we were only mentioned once! wait twice. Three alliance teammembers, Fuggaabout it! We actually beat 122 for the first time in an elimination round in this years game. They beat us in the finals at VCU Regional, and in the Philly Quarterfinals. props go out to our rookie driver (who kicked buttox), switchbox guys, and the pit crew. Props also to 25 for a great pairing. See ya at Ramp Riot. (why are they calling it that this year. There arent any ramps in this game. oh well what are you gonna do?)

As the coach of Team 341, I first of all want to thank teams 365 and 316 for putting on a great show. Very few people know how much work and pure love of Robotics it takes to put together an off-season event.
This type of competition is so important for training. We had rookies down on the floor swapping out drive chains, tightening set screws, screaming in the stands, and getting excited about FIRST. THAT is what this type of competition is all about. So thanks to everyone that helped put this together.

Second, I just want to say congratulations to Teams 87 and 25. You are the toughest of competitors and we have a very real admiration for your crew and coaches. We are very excited that you are coming to Ramp Riot. Your attendance will make it a great event.

And finally congratulations to "Dixonij" for being the first person in 5 months to notice our confusing event name. We know there's no ramp. After 3 years, we just like the sound of it and decided to keep it. Best of luck to everyone coming to our show!!!

*Bow, Bow, Bow* thank you, thank you. I know im so observant. Well, if the name sounds good keep it (even if it has nothing to do with the current game).

Hey guys- thanks again for all the compliments and once again thanks to 87 for picking us and playing the game and to the event organizers fro putting on a great show.

But if you really want to make this old guy feel good tell me that you all are coming to our event on November 23rd (the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving this year). We have lots of fun planned and have been working all summer getting things ready. Now all we need are the teams. YOU WANT TO BE THERE.

See you all at Ramp Riot ( and I did notice the name Al -just didn't want to say anything)

If i hadnt made the comment i would have made a funny remark. Oh well. This years game involved scoring zones hence the name Zone Zeal. Get it? yeah? Good.
