Hi,
Looking at some new cars, you see that they have HUD displays that show things like MPH and directions onto your windshield (http://services.edmunds-media.com/image-service/media-ed/ximm/?quality=85&image=/lexus/gs-350/2013/lt/2013_lexus_gs-350_int_lt_1152013_600.jpg). I was thinking this would be very cool to make a larger version for our driver station that could display pneumatic pressure, whether there is a boulder in the robot, etc.
The problem is, I can't find too much information on how to make one yourself. I obviously know you need a projector of some sort, but how big and how bright? What do I need to use for projecting the image onto? Is there a special film that is needed so the image comes in clearly?
Thanks!
