It looks like the team list has been updated. 2849's robot is listed as Sir Render.

No field lights or no car lights?

Both!
,kidding completely.
For the finals yesterday the top 2 teams were placed into a 1v1 on the field.
The rules of the duel, so to speak were as such.
1. Team mentors will drive the robot
2. 2 students are allowed to assist
a. 1 drive coach
b. 1 torch bearer
3. No defenses will be on the field, only their bases.
a. This was to reduce the posibility of robot damage.
4. The game will then follow regular match rules
5. There will be no lights on in the room, only the field lights and "torch bearers" flashlights

One of the most fun off-season finals I've seen

TechFire 225 had a great time at Battle O' Baltimore this past weekend. Thank you to McDonogh and BAA for putting on a great event. We had a lot of new students in attendance and were able to see how exciting the competition was.

Also - thank you to 1405 McDonogh Eagles and 1915 MTHS Firebird Robotics for joining our alliance and being great alliance partners.

Reminder for those at BOB, TechFire 225 is hosting a Kickoff even this year in York PA where you can watch the kickoff and pick your KOP up. We will also host a workshop on PID control and Vision.

Thank you again for a great event! MCD!! MCD!! :-)
