I found this site last season and am hoping to find someone willing/able to update the data. I love some good datas, so tasty.

http://maths22.com/ftc/cmp/byYear.html

I'm interested to see if we have any new teams joining the upper ranks on these lists.

Teams who were listed as attending for 3 consecutive years were also listed for attending for 2 consecutive years twice, as a subset of the 3 consecutive years. Bug?

Looks like it is counting teams per year range. So for example everyone in the 13 consecutive years fits into every other category.

Only 177 has made it to Einstein 7 6 consecutive years, from 2006 to 2011. That shocks me that a team could be so good, consistently, for so long. In fact the team with the next most Einstein visits in a row appears to be only 67 and 1678. That's insane to me (in a good way).

Whoops, only 6 years, my b.

Their streak was only 6 years.

Yes, I understand why it's happening. I was just commenting that it shouldn't happen because it falsely inflates the amount of teams able to make it to Champs.

I'll try to remember what I did to make this and will then update it.

The secret is in the extensive drive team rituals.

Thanks for updating the site Maths. I really liked it last year and am glad you were able to update it again.

Hey Maths, any chance we could get some sort of marking for the Original Sustaining and HoF teams? It's really only relevant for CMP attendance but it really says a lot when you look at the 14 yr list without HoF/Original Sustaining teams:

16 *
25
27 *
33
45 **
67 *
111 *
118
120 *
126 **
148 **
175 *
190 **
191 *
236 *
254 *
341 *
365 *
842 *
1114 *

* HoF
** Original Sustaining

That list is teams who have been to champs for the last 14 years, and according to TBA 359 missed champs in 2004 and 2007.

Just out of curiosity, does anybody know why 359 missed champs in 2004 and 2007?

A quick look at The Blue Alliance shows they did not compete in 2004 (https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/359/2004) and did not qualify in 2007 (https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/359/2007). They did not earn Hall of Fame status until 2011.

Oops, forgot about that one, thanks for clarifying.

In 2004, I didnt sign up for FRC because our team and team 368 both decided to take a break and participate in Botball that year.
While it was a great program, our kids convinced us to do FRC once again because they missed participating in it. During the 2004 season, we never thought we would do FRC ever again.
In 2007, we could have signed up for Champs, but decided against going regardless of the outcome of our 2 regional events. That was the 1st time we ever traveled to the East Coast and it pretty much wiped out our entire budget that season. Our team also qualified for the Championships in 2001 but didnt bother signing up because of funding constraints.
Back then, going to Champs wasnt a big deal for us. We actually preferred going to regionals and Champs was a last priority.
