Hey everyone,

We just wrapped up our first season of... FIRST. It was great to learn so much about the organization! I made a short survey with questions about the competitions. I know surveys are boring so for those of you that provide an email address you will be entered into a drawing for a FREE Cooler Master Mechanical Keyboard.

Please help us out with this, it only allows us to improve our support in the future.

Also, if you have questions about our products, feel free to hit me up.

I second Billfred's comments on this one. Interesting too see what kind of angle this is taking.

Thanks for all the responses so far, we will be closing the survey on May 30th.

Definitely a survey that I enjoyed filling out more than some others.

Most of the questions seem to be pointing towards a CoolerMaster-run Robotics event...

Which actually seems really awesome, and I'd love to be able to see it happen.

You guys are so quick! I can't believe how many people have responded in less than a day. Since there are so many of you we will now be giving out 3 keyboards.

Also, not to derail my own thread, but have you seen our robot?

Whether or not the question gets answered of if people will participate in a robotics tournament just because a prize is offered, at the very least you'll be able to tell how many people will answer a survey when a prize is offered.

Looks neat! How well does it handle? Looks like it might be a bit tippy, especially if the PC was top-heavy.
It would be really neat if the robot could also transport some sort of collapsible workstation with keyboard, monitor, mouse, and "desk space" all in one. That way you could just drive it into a LAN party, park it, and sit down and start playing.

The robot handles great. The center of gravity is low enough so that it wont tip over. So far it is capable of hauling a case, keyboard, and mouse but in the future maybe we can expand on it.

Just a reminder, today is the last day to fill this out and have a chance at one of 3 keyboards we are giving away.

Even if you don't win just remember we read every response and use what we learn to better serve the robotics community. Look for an announcement soon with some BIG news ;)

Great survey! I like to give my feedback on events. Also, it sure would be nice to have a mechanical keyboard to replace my old entry dell keyboard for my rig.

We have chosen our winners and they should have gotten an email. If they don't claim it in 48 hours we will draw more names. Thanks again to everyone who participated. If you won, feel free to brag!

Just under 300.

Here is what I have learned from a quick skim so far:

People hate loud music.
People really like food.

Wow, that's a lot more than I would have expected. Wonder if any are duplicate responses from throwaway email addresses... :ahh:

Thanks Cooler Master! I supposedly have a brand new Mechanical keyboard on my way. I might just put your logo on our sponsor section, just for fun ;)

Sounds good to me. You should review it on your show. Maybe start a segment each week where you review a product and talk about its potential use with robotics teams.

That is actually a really cool idea. Maybe some sort of unbox therapy-esque show.

It is so good that you are trying to gain information through surveys and competitions. Your special product sales show that you are really wanting to help teams, but in my opinion your posts seem to be becoming more like advertising for Cooler Master Products than anything.
