Ontario districts 2017?

Others on my team said they heard it announced during worlds that ontario would be moving to districts next year. That being said I've looked online and can't seem to find any official statement from FIRST or FIRST Canada confirming this.

Has anyone else heard of this? Or better yet, have a source straight from first?
