Hi everyone, I'm new to Chief Delphi but am hoping to reach people involved in Michigan robotics.

We are considering holding a roundtable discussion on how being on a robotics team affects students educationally, so we're looking for Michigan educators who are also involved in robotics teams. I believe this discussion would be very valuable for teachers and school administrators.

This is an idea which we hope to make happen at our ROBO-CON Festival of Robotics and STEM Learning, tentatively slated for July 23 in Lapeer. If you know of involved Michigan educators who might be interested, would you please contact me through the following link? Thank you! http://www.mirobocon.com/contact.html

Truck Town Thunder is excited to attend and I look forward to participating in the discussion and I am hoping I have some exciting news in FIRST education to share.

Thank you to the educators who e-mailed me and who messaged me here. I believe we should have enough teachers to make this roundtable discussion happen, and greatly appreciate everyone's interest!

We're fortunate to have Andrew Spiece from Truck Town Thunder involved also!

The educator roundtable will focus mainly on how involvement in robotics teams affects students educationally. This is a discussion which I believe other educators need to hear, and we'd love to see teams from around Michigan encourage their school boards, administrators and teachers to attend ROBO-CON to benefit from educators in the know.

The ROBO-CON Festival of Robotics and STEM Learning (http://MiRoboCon.com) is July 23, 2016, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in Lapeer, Michigan. The roundtable discussion will happen sometime during ROBO-CON; we'll announce the time soon.
