What teams are going to be attending the Buckeye Regional? My team ( Delphi Elite Team #48) will be attending the regional for our second year. We have the luck of only being 45 minutes from Cleveland. Last year we went back and forth everyday, but this year we get to stay up in Cleveland the whole weekend!! I might actually get to stay the whole competition this year. That's the only bad thing about being so close to home, you have to still go to band preformances. :o( It broke my heart to have to leave and miss one of the best team parties around. I hear that the party was something to see!! Darn and I missed it. Well, I hope that all of ya'll that are coming to Cleveland come loud and proud!! See ya there in March!!

There are 59 team signed up to come to Buckeye regional.............Why aren't people posting in here?!? Also has anyone heard if they are having a party up there this year?!?

Due to what happened last year at the RRHOF, I think that they would consider somewhere else to hold the event( because we aren't allowed to ahve team parties!!

Team 808 will be there. Last year we were rookies! It was great place to have our first FIRST experience! It's not far from home but once you're inside and competition begins it doesn't really matter where you are. The action is INSIDE!!!
The X-Cats will be there (as well as team 73, 211, 340, 578 and 1126 all from the Rochester, NY area).

I'll be there in spirit (haha) with the X-Cats and all the rochester teams! I'm so proud of you guys for starting up the new Webster team, and getting Tigerbolt up and running again! Have fun guys, and defend that Spirit Award!

Does anyone know where their team will be staying yet? My team has talked about a few places, but we haven't decided where we're going to be staying (to my knowledge). Is your team planning on making a trip to Tower City, Hard Rock Cafe, or one of the sports arenas we have?? Spaghetti Wearhouse is always a favorite of mine while I'm there and don't forget the RRHOF!! CLEVELAND ROCKS!!
Well....Since team 541's school is located just alittle over a mile away from CSU....I guess i would be a good person to answer a question of yours. If your team is looking for a few nice places to kill some time be sure to check out that Rock & Roll Hall of Fame....I sware your wont regret it...Also be sure to check out what concerts our in town at the time.....The revamped Natuica center is Just a awesome place to relaxe and listen to some great music....pluse there are many other little clubs around the flats area where you guys can have a great time.....(Of course this all depends on weather or not your teachers let you wonder off or not.) Hope this helped abit....or at least gave you a few more ideas.....Oh ya....be sure to stop by and say hi to 541....well do what we can to make you fell at home ;)

Team 808 is staying at the Comfort Inn 2 blocks from CSU. I heard they weren't doing a party at RRHF but your team could still visit if you pay the entrance fee.

awwww..........it's great to see that there are rookie teams out there and that they are getting all the information about this site and things. WAY TO GO ROOKIES.
And for the person from MAX HAYS ........I was there mentoring my city's Lego Leauge team. Your right there is so much to do in Cleveland. Flats is almost all over 18 though to get in anywhere. Tower city would be the best bet for high schoolers in my opinion!!

I'm so excited that there are going to be 6 Rochester teams there. It was disappointing to be at NYC last year with no other Rachacha teams. Good luck to all!

We're staying at the Embassy Suites downtown. It looks really nice on the website.

Hey!! We aren't gonna be missing!! if everything works out, we will be there Friday and Saturday in full force representing everyone and cheering our heads off. We dont have to have a robot there to go:yikes: :D

I think that is as true as it gets. Just because there isn't a robot doesn't mean that you still can't go!! The Girard,Ohio RoboCats came to the pre-ship event held by Delphi Elite this past weekend without their robot, but still stayed and cheered on the rest of the teams. Some teams broke and some teams showed their robots skills very well!! For all of those who attended it was great and great food!! Can't wait to Buckeye Regional!!

TEAM 1126 is in the same hotel as the X - Cats, The Embassy Suites:
One room witha separate living area, 2 Tv's,dining table, desk,couch,microwave,i think two beds,etc.......:cool:
