I'm a rising senior, and I want to apply for the NU-FIRST Scholarship. NU is literally my dream school, but unfortunately, it's way too costly for my family (although my parents make a lot of money through their work, there are 6 family members in my house and not a lot left if you know what i mean) and getting the scholarship would literally be amazing.

If there are past NU-FIRST Scholarship winners or applicants floating around here, can I have some advice for the essay? I'm the safety captain for my team, and I feel like my essay will be weaker than others because I'm not working with build/mech or programming. I definitely have a lot to say, but I feel like I'm going to have a hard time summing it up and relating it to others at NU.

You might want to PM Brandon Holley or Andrew Schrieber, I'd wager that they could get you in contact with previous recipients. I believe a friend I graduated high school with actually won the scholarship her year; I'll tell her to contact you.
