This year, thanks to generous support from the University of South Florida and Hillsborough County, Florida, ROBOTICON moves to larger digs at the University of South Florida Sun Dome (http://www.sundomearena.com/plan-your-visit/directions-parking), with two days of off-season game play for up to 32 FIRST Robotics Competition teams! The event runs October 8 & 9.
In addition to the off season event, we'll also have:
FIRST Tech Challenge scrimmage and build day
FIRST LEGO League practice and training
FIRST LEGO League Jr. min-Expo
Workshops for all programs, provided by teams, alumni, business and tech professionals
ROBOTICON Challenge Awards
Innovation Fair
Teams from around Florida, the nation and internationally are invited to join in!
ROBOTICON is the 2nd of the Florida Off-Season Series (https://firstfl.org/events/#Off Seasons) that includes Panther Prowl (http://floridatech.orgsync.com/org/firstatfit/eventinfo) at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne on September 24, and Mission Mayhem (http://missionmayhem.org/) at Dillard High School in Ft. Lauderdale on October 22.
Registration is discounted according to the number of events for which a team registers. It's $150 if you register for just one event, $125 per event if you register for two, and $100 per event if you register for all three.
