The teaser trailer will be released tonight!! What do you think this years theme will be? Let me know below what your thoughts are. Post here once you watch the trailer and tell me what you think of the trailer and DLC pack 1.
Thanks,
Taggerun
P.S. I think this years theme will be a space theme!! :D :D :D :D
I haven't seen anyone bring up the possibility that there might not be a theme this year. (or a 'soft' theme like 2015 and the sports themed games)

I definetly think they'll bring the theme back again based on the success of last year's theme. Space theme I hope.
I think that the 2017 game will be science fiction/space themed. I hope its a shooting game. :P

Maybe a water shooting game? xD
Maybe a water shooting game? xD
"Teams chase opponent robots with water guns and aim at the electronics board..."
That would be... interesting... :P
It could also be a football game.

It'll definitely be video game themed.

I believe it will be a "pick and place" style game.
Ala 2005, 2007, 2011. It's been a while.
I think if you look at the Mars Rovers, the Canadarm that was on the Space Shuttle. A "space/mars exploration" style game makes sense.
I don't love the over themed games but I think that's the new reality.

I think it'll be some sort of pick and place game. I'm hoping it has some option to score in volume, as we have not had a true volume scoring game since 2009 (!), but I'm not holding my breath. Would love to see something where you pick up many relatively small objects, and puke them into something high up / far away.

We had 'moon exploration' in 2009; Mars would most likely be next in the sequence.

Mars exploration, where the whole field is the red alliance.

Since the Teaser After Show is featuring Emma Dumont who among many other things is a Roller Derby skater, and this is the "unusual object" rotation cycle, I'm guessing that we are going to play alliance roller derby with a baton. Like Arial Assist, alliances will have to carry the baton around a track and get points for handing it off and then closing a cycle by scoring it.
Hoping the game has a bunch of game pieces so we can store a bunch and unload them in scoring zone
It'll definitely be video game themed.
+1
Weighing in w/ a sci-fi theme.... after all this year is 50 yrs of Star Trek.

Be sure to check out the Aftershow on GameSense at 7:30 ET. We've got Emma Dumont as well as Allen Gregory and some of his students from 3847 to hear what they think about the goodies coming our way!
