Hello,
Could anyone point me in the direction of where I could find a list or parameters for allowed quick disconnect crimp connectors for FRC Robotics wiring? I was planning on using Gardner Bender 15-151 Disconnect .25" TAB 22-16 Male and Female Disconnect and Gardner Bender 15-155 Disconnect .25" TAB 16-14 Male and Female Disconnect. Also does anyone have any recommendations for other kinds of quick disconnect crimp connectors and where to get them in bulk?
Thanks

Any connector is legal in FRC as long as it meets all of the rules (cost, safety, etc). There isn't a specific list.

Many teams use Anderson Powerpole connectors. They are what we use. We buy them from mouser.com and they are cheap enough when buying several hundred.

Agreed that APP is our go-to connector for 10A+, but at times we will use molex connectors, Dupont connectors (0.1" headers) or even automotive style quick disconnects. If you use automotive style, either buy the ones with an insulating shield, or add your own insulation, preferably in the form of heat-shrink tubing.

+1 for Anderson Powerpoles.

We have been using Anderson Powerpoles for years. Love them. Motor controllers and zip cord, all the way to the motors. You can say we are in that quantity of many teams who use them. We often buy ours at Powerwerx for large quantities at a decent price. Doesn't hurt to shop around though for a better price if you have the time.

I know that Team 1538, The Holy Cows, recently adopted the Deans Ultra Connector for certain applications. They still use the Powerpoles for parts of the robot, but the Deans Ultra provides a bit smaller footprint when working by the motor controllers, and they have less resistance than a piece of 12 awg wire that is the same length as the connector.
