Fought through the screens and we are supposedly registered. Hope my multiple clicks that did nothing will not screw up the running tally. It stood at 17 available spots (out of 30 to start with) when I got through...

Just got word our lead mentor got us registered... This was more frustrating then my divorce.....

After attempting to log-in and register since just before noon, and getting every error message conceivable, we finally get through to be put on a waitlist..... UGH!

Finally registered at 9:43 am for Los Angeles Regional.
Got an error after clicking the "Register" button on the LA Regional page. Hit the back button on browser, which reloaded the page, hit "Register" then got the success message! 25 slots remain (half of the original number of openings).
This is painful and totally unfair to a bunch of people who have day jobs and teaching to do.
Edit at 10:03 am: It appears Team 980 has registered TWICE for the Los Angeles Regional! Maybe the first attempt worked, in spite of the error message? We received only one email confirmation, but "My Events" page in the dashboard shows Los Angeles Regional duplicate. This is pretty messy...

That would be the SBPLI LI Regional which now shows zero open slots.

SBPLI Long Island NY regional. Which now that I'm looking again no longer seems to even exist on their site.

the event search page is kind of messed up? The calendar...be sure to select the proper season, year, month, etc. I spent a while looking for the San Fransisco regional with no luck...until I noticed I was searching for it in the 2015-2016 season! not a very well though out design.

Weird request, but can anyone give me an update on how many spots are still available at the Rocket City Regional?
Team 5030 is officially signed up for the NYC Regional. I hit the registration button at 12:00 and it froze. I kept trying to get into the system and when it was around 12:45 i was finally able to get and to see we were registered. Hopefully FIRST can figure out what happened before the 2nd event registration date.

Yeah I thought of that too but I just clicked on the "Find an Event" button, and typed in the event I'm not waitlisted at. There is no option to select dates or anything on that page. The screen doesn't populate anything, which is weird because it does show other events like the New York City Regional that also is filled up.

Login to TIMS, click on Event Registration, and click find an event.
It will show a list of all events and their remaining capacities.
I don't think it will list the one event you are registered or waitlisted for, oddly enough.

That would explain what I was seeing then.
Everything seems to be operating normally now.
When will the registration counts update again ?

If you want to know the capacity for your event you can see it by clicking on View Event before you go into the Find Event section.

I also don't think I could see events happening the same week as the event I already registered for.
We were able to get registered for SVR after the server issues were resolved.

Kudos to the FIRST IT staff. It must have been a stressful day. I am only guessing at facial expressions at 12:01 EST....

I tried the archive site today, it said "This system is currently off-line for scheduled maintenance." on the regional events page.

Just went into my dashboard to check everything out since we will be signing up for a second district event at 12. I got no event button and in the tasks list it says I have to submit my YPP screening. I already did that and we were able to sign up for the first district event. Is anyone else having this error?

Your district events are not in the system because FIM and PNW are registering right now. They should be back before 12. Did you make any changes to the mentors (especially main or alternative contact) listed in TIMS?

11:00 to 11:45 AM Eastern Time: 2nd District Event Registration will open for MI and PNW teams only. Events for non-MI and non-PNW District Teams will not be visible during this time. (Don’t Panic)
No need to panic about the event button, but the YPP could be an issue.
