just got one of these http://www.grizzly.com/products/Industrial-Blast-Cabinet/G0714 looking for suggestions for a good media for steel parts off our plasma cutter. Want to smooth edges, remove slag / dross and prep for paint or powder coat. That's probably the closest you'll get to doing what you want. Don't expect it to do any noticeable smoothing of edges, though. Or even do much to slag.
