Hello,

Our team wanted to use addressable RGB LED strips (ws2812) on the bot for visual feedback. These are most easily controlled when connected to an arduino of sorts. The arduino would only have code to sequence the LEDs responding to digital input signals from the digital outputs of the CDIM.

Is this allowed?

RE17, as written, doesn't leave any wiggle room on this that I can see:

<RE17> Additional Electronics – Electronic devices that are not specifically addressed in the preceding rules are not allowed. A partial list of electronics that are not allowed includes: Arduino boards, Raspberry Pi, relays, and custom circuits.
