How did 71 not make it??

An old powerhouse team that the young voters for this poll didn't know. (see obvious 2016 bias)

I'd put odds at 50/50 that 71 beat out the highest PNW team

How many unique teams were voted for?
Which teams received first place votes?
How many points were needed for #25? #50?

Missed the show, but that's a pretty neat list! Do you have final numbers for how much money was raised for 5871?

71 was 67th place

Nope, 4488 beat them out in 51st place.

578 unique teams were voted for.

63 teams received first place votes. This is higher than usual but we did open the door pretty wide for teams to vote for themselves.

408 was the cutoff for 25th and 187 was the cutoff for 50th.

"We are still running our donation campaign and every view/listen we get we will contribute towards FRC5871 up until Kickoff!" This campaign is still going. Perhaps you can watch and help contribute ;). The honest truth is that it probably won't be a huge amount, but we hope that we have inspired others to help contribute.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I believe I got to everyone's PMs as well but fire away if you have any more stats questions.

We usually do not release anything past the top 50 but I figured that there would be individuals who wanted to know certain teams. If this gets a lot more traffic then we might but otherwise I don't mind following up with people.

Your joke on stream about our whole team voting for us may not have been true, but based on these I am guessing Florida was very vocal in the votes.

Cause that is at least 7 Florida teams in the top 100

Thanks for doing this list - even though some may get rankled about the position of their favorite teams, it does provide good fodder at team meetings. It is always interesting to see how teams' popularity amongst the FIRST community ebbs and flows.

I think it would be a great thing to release this current list; just to see how everything panned out. It might provide motivation, consternation, or just good old water cooler conversation for the rest of us.

Thanks FRCTOP25 for all your work in promoting FIRST!

Merry Christmas all!

No Indiana teams either - and we even had one on Einstein (https://www.thebluealliance.com/team/1501)!
Not to mention Indiana teams led the world in breach and capture rates (source (https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1570926&postcount=1)).
