The link shows our two robots competing at Capital City Classic in QF 3-1. Since none of our current students had experience designing turrets or wheeled shooters, we chose to have them create a completely new design for CCC. The offseason robot wears bumper number 212 and features extensive use of 3D components including a pneumatically actuated 4 position shooter hood. Drive team for 212 comprised students with no prior drive team experience. Thanks to 1678, 2073 and 3859 for hosting a great event!

Hey Mike-

This is a $@#$@#$@#$@# impressive robot. Kudos to you and the team for banging out a really effective off-season bot.

Can you guys share detail photos of the inside? I know a lot of people would like to see the guts.

I love the turret! Seconding the request for pictures, especially of the shooter/hood system.

I don't have any close up photos, but here's one I took of both robots together before one of their qualifying matches.

It was really cool to be able to see it in person!

It's also worth noting that the 2122/212 duo did not miss a single high goal shot in this match, including auto. The final tower strength was -13 and final total score of 239. That's quite impressive, especially considering the drive team had no prior experience for 212. It was really quite impressive to see both of these robots compete and to have Team Taters at CCC.

And for anyone that might not know, the 2122/212 duo won CCC this year along with their third alliance partner, 6174. Congrats again on that!

OOOH! Capital City Classic had FLAMING BOULDERS!:D

Obviously an edit:

You might notice something a little different about our field carpet as well :P.

Yes, that too. At first look, all I saw was dark. Did the color scheme throw off anyone who was using the alignment line (https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152797)?
