usfirst.org Website Being Decommissioned

Written by Frank Merrick, 2016 DEC 23.

The old usfirst.org website, which can be found here (http://archive.usfirst.org/?__hstc=212927755.d37b66de5d5c953db7a99b0afeefe889 .1465225161339.1482508997385.1482521588597.166&__hssc=212927755.1.1482521588597&__hsfp=2169180631) is scheduled to be decommissioned on January 31, 2017. The data currently on the site is being retained, but the site itself will no longer be available.

We recognize that some folks still use the old website. We’d like to know what specific data and features are available on the old website that you think are missing from the new website and would like to have available or implemented. Please send your suggestions to Jamee Luce at frcteamadvocate@firstinspires.org. The most helpful suggestions will be very specific (if you reference a page on the archive site, please consider pasting the archive link in your email) and also include a solid ‘why’ about retaining the data or feature. We’re likely to be receiving more requests than we’ll be able to implement and will need to prioritize.

For folks celebrating Christmas on Sunday, I hope you have a great one!

Speaking of Christmas, check out the great light switch cover a few of the staff got me. Talk about adding an artistic touch to an item normally just considered functional!
