Looking in the newspaper today, and it said that San Franciso may ban the segway, they claim it could be a "safety hazard"!! ha!
"they pose a hazard to pedestrians, in particular seniors"
the blasphemy! the horror!

Well we all saw the group on 60 Minutes II.
I think I'll keep the rest of my opinions to myself.

Their the type of people who would get millions because one crosswalk's paint is chipping. And if you read it more, the mayor is planning on vetoing it. START YOUR ENGINES PEOPLE! This ain't going to be pretty.
"San Francisco: Stupid Laws for Stupid People."
Seriously, which one of those politicians down in SF thought that a motorized scooter (Dean Kamen is swearing at those last two words) was more dangerous than their street layout, crack dealers, and trolleys?
If you where able to download the Big Thinkers Episode with Dean Kamen, you could see that there where these people that where like
STOP THE SEGWAY SLAUGHTER!
STOP THE SEGWAY SLAUGHTER!
STOP THE SEGWAY SLAUGHTER!
In my opinion these are just people with nothing to do, they want to become a part of something so they join this little "Club" that takes a totaly different view than the public and then they get on TV for it.

The Segway lacks a traditional steering mechanism but has been lauded for its precise control and ease of handling, which involve translating a rider's slight weight-shifts into forward motion, pinpoint turns and stops.
Wait a second, you have to use the steering grip to turn!
